Childs Farm sponsors RDA award

Children's toiletries brand Childs Farm sponsors the ‘Most Improved Participant’ category at the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Gala Awards.

Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is celebrating the continued support of children’s toiletries brand, Childs Farm. In addition to the 10 percent donation of profits already made by the company, Childs Farm will be sponsoring the ‘Most Improved Participant’ category at RDA’s Gala Awards. The glittering evening, hosted by Clare Balding, is the highlight of the RDA events calendar and an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of riders, volunteers and ponies.

“Childs Farm is delighted to be sponsoring the award,” says company founder Joanna Jensen.  “RDA has always been part of our lives – as individuals and as a firm. Horses are part of all of our lives, and we know that the special relationship they create with their riders and carers makes us all more human.  We all strongly believe that anyone can do anything, no matter what the odds, as does the RDA, which proves year after year that even those with severe disabilities can beat the odds through self-determination, the love and care of horses and the endless time that the RDA volunteers give.”

“Childs Farm is a very enthusiastic and loyal supporter of RDA and we are delighted that Joanna and her team have decided to sponsor this award,” says Ed Bracher, Chief Executive of RDA. “The most Improved Participant Award is always a very special part of the evening, where we recognise the extraordinary achievements of our riders and drivers, who have overcome often extreme challenges to reach their goals.”

The RDA Gala Awards will take place at Lord’s Cricket Ground on 30 September 2015 with special guests, Clare Balding, Jonathan Agnew and Alastair Stewart.
