London agent celebrates

The London estate agency, Douglas & Gordon, has announced that July was its second best performing month in the 51-year history of the company, with the best being July 2007

London agents Douglas & Gordon recorded their second best month in their 51-year history in July with applicant levels equal in number to their top scoring month two years previously in July 2007. Managing director Ivor Dickinson says: 'We expected July and August to be very quiet but prices have adjusted to such a degree that the market is moving again.'

'We're seeing landlords are selling rental properties and tenants are coming out of rented properties to buy.'

'Buyers believe now is the time to buy.'
