Rescue a Dogs Trust dog in July

** UPDATE July 10/13**

Milo has now found a home already after just a few days, so we’re incredibly pleased for him, and for his new family. Watch this space for some new Dog’s Trust dogs to re-home in the country.

Country Life has teamed up with Dogs Trust for a new monthly series trying to re-home some dogs which particularly need to live in the countryside.

Our first candidate is the lovable Milo, a five-year-old Springer Spaniel Cross currently residing in Loughborough.

Ella Tonge, Dogs Trust Loughborough Supporter Relations Officer, says, ‘Milo is a bundle of energy who loves to be out and about investigating the world. Even though he’s five he has the puppy mentality of being into everything!

‘A friendly boy he enjoys socialising with other dogs and would happily live with another four-legged friend, unsurprisingly he loves his food, so would do well with some additional training. Ideally this bouncy boy is looking for active owners with no young children, preferably with rescue dog or breed experience, that can invest the time into his training and help him settle into his new routine. With a lot of TLC, and treats (!), Milo will no doubt become a great addition to any lucky family.’

If you think you can offer Milo the perfect new home please contact the team at Dogs Trust Loughborough on 01509 880 070 or visit Milo and his carers at the rehoming centre: Hill Farm, Wide Lane, Wymeswold, Loughborough, LE12 6SE. www.dogstrust.org.uk
