Where it is

Town Furlong can be found in the desirable village of Frilford which is 11.5 miles west of Oxford. Witney is 9.3 miles and Abingdon 8.8 miles away and both have a great range of shops and the necessary Waitrose, but if you need a paper or a pint of milk there are shops in Southmoor. The village has a great community even though there are no immediate facilities, it's ok there is lots nearby. There are some fantastic pubs close by, The Blue Boar in Longworth not only looks like The Village Pub should, but there is a great atmosphere, delicious home cooked locally produced food, The Dog House is a little closer and has been refurbished, the food is yummy, its' cosy in the winter and there is 4 acres for the children to explore in the summer. For the golf enthusiast Frilford is the one of a select number of courses to boast 54 holes of championship golf and is quarter of a mile away. If you have little ones they can go to the village schools in Longworth or Kingston Bagpuize which are high in the league tables, There is an abundance of good private schools locally , you can chose from St Hughes, Cokethorpe and Josca's, which is opposite the property, to mention a few.
