"The ingredients for a fabulous family house are all here," says the owner of 7 Oakwood. "It's a great size with a large garden and in a lovely area - all within walking distance of Berkhamsted town centre. And at the moment the house presents the perfect opportunity for someone to move in and stamp their mark on it.

"My mother lived at this house for 16 years and was particularly passionate about the garden. And because she loved everything about it and was so very happy living here, the rest of the family has loved it too. We've had some great times in the garden and it's always been a place where we've been able to relax. There is plenty of space for children to play and my mother poured hours of attention into herbaceous borders packed with the most beautiful flowers.
