The Holiness of Beauty: GF Bodley (1827-1907) and his circle
Thursday, 1 November 2007
Marking the 100th anniversary of the death of George Fredrick Bodley, the most influential Gothic revival architect of the late 19th century, this display brings together a selection of the very rare surviving drawings by Bodley and his office. Highlights include an embroidered cope from St Paul's, Knightsbridge and one of the earliest known panels of stained glass by William Morris.
