Weapons of Mass Communication: War Posters

This major new exhibition features hundreds of the most eye catching and iconic posters from the Imperial War Museum's international collection, from First World War to the present day. With many of the posters on display for the first time, Weapons of Mass Communication explores the influence of advertising and publicity on government propaganda and policy. The exhibition incorporates powerful anti-Vietnam War designs of the 1960s and 1970s and more recent material from the Iraq War demonstrations. Open daily 10am-6pm
