Venice inspires art show

Venice the City of Light is brought to life at a delightful exhibition opening at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday (26 April).
Venice Inspires features breathtaking views by modern and contemporary artists from the museum’s own collections together with rarely seen loans from local artists and collectors.
The exhibition is one of six being held during Northampton’s three-month Venetian themed festival which runs until 10 August.
Artworks include etchings by Sir Frank Brangwyn, one of the most influential artists of the early 20th century, the lyrical images of Peter Berrisford and iconic visions by Tom Osborne Robinson whose passion for Venice is clear.
Venice Inspires is showing at the Northampton Museum and Art gallery from 26 April to 21 June.
