NFU insurance wins awards

NFU Mutual is celebrating after winning a hat-trick of awards for the way it treats its customers.

Monday, 01 September 2008

The insurer won two top prizes at the The British Insurance Awards: the Customer Care Award and General Insurer of the Year and it also topped a survey of 30,000 readers of Auto Express Magazine.

The firm draws upon its knowledge and experience in both the rural and urban communities to tailor its policies to suit the needs of its customers. Michael Long is an NFU Mutual customer who voted for the firm in Auto Express Magazine’s ‘Driver Power 2008’ survey. He says this is because of the personalised service he received when it came to claiming on his policy: 'My claim was dealt with most efficiently without any fuss,'

In the survey, readers rated their insurance company on four key categories: communication, helpfulness, value for money and overall performance and NFU Mutual held on to the top spot for the third year running, retaining its lead by three percentage points.
