Morocco's first polo resort is to be built outside the iconic city of Marrakech

Friday, 30 January 2009

During the winter, the Atlas Mountains stand majestically topped with snow behind the city of colourful and bustling city of Marrakech.

Against this background, a new polo resort is to be built. Jnan Amar Polo Resort is the first  residential polo project in Morocco, designed to appeal to even the most demanding polo players and polo fans – lured by the setting and year-round polo season.

Standing on 40 hectares, the resort will have an exclusive polo club, grounds, a club house and an equestrian club. Accommodation at the resort comprises 76 villas, a luxury five star hotel and a spa.   All villas will also be elevated to enjoy the scenic view towards the Atlas Mountains, and will open out towards the central terraces of the hotel, converging and sloping down towards the polo field.
