Classic cars offer best investment returns
Knight Frank's Luxury Investment Index shows shows value growth of classic cars and watches

Over the past ten years, luxury investments such as classic sports cars and watches have offered returns of 174 per cent, according to Knight Frank's Luxury Investment Index.
Classic cars, such as Ferraris and Bentleys, have displayed the strongest growth over the past six months, rising 21%. There has been a remarkable 430% increase in classic cars over the past ten years.
This increase matches the rise in value of residential property in central London over the same period. Gold, however, has seen a 23% fall in price since June 2012.
Knight Frank's Luxury Investment Index, which tracks the value of luxury assets such as fine wine, and art, has risen 174% over a ten-year period.
