These are very beautiful houses, like England’s villages. I come from Dublin in Ireland, and if a house like whats above came on the market in the Dublin counties and home counties. Meath. Kildare. Wicklow. Mullingar, and Longford with land during the Celtic Tiger, a developer would them, and built houses and apartments and apartments on the land. Nothing about in keeping with character. In my village, there is one of a very few Georgian Houses, double entrance, dual aspect rooms, sash windows. The prime of the 18th century. During the Celtic Tiger the house went on the market, and permission was sought for four four story apartments. Now the lovely old house is dominated by the four story apartments, and the house is hardly noticeable. Looking at these beautiful houses. The beautiful villages of England. The strict planning regulations of The National Trust. What has been built during the Celtic Tiger that has destroyed some of Ireland’s lovely makes want make unspoilt England my home. Well done to The National Trust for looking after England’s architecture.
