Skeldon is beautifully cared for, making the most of its stunning landscapes. It is approached over the old north drive, through a stone pillared gateway, with the resurfaced road winding through mixed woodland and lined with rhododendrons and laurels. It ends in a gravel sweep in front of the house with a large area of lawn bounded by a ha-ha.

Skeldon is situated about 7 miles south east of Ayr on the south west coast of Scotland, close to the village of Dalrymple. It lies in beautiful rolling countryside with productive farmland framed by woodland and highlighted by the River Doon.
