Description
Believed to have origins back to the later part of the 18th Century,Wrayton Hall is an elegant period property with extensive accommodation, good proportions, original and period character features including mahogany and marble fireplaces, sash windows, some with pine shutters, pine panelled doors, picture rails and decorative plasterwork (cornices and ceiling roses). The present vendors have sympathetically upgraded and improved the property and now formal and informal reception rooms along with the addition of a splendid conservatory all combine to create a modern, comfortable and welcoming family home. In an elevated position, the property stands well with views over the extensive gardens and grounds down to the River Greta and across to Ingleborough in the east. The large stable block also retains many of the original fittings (wooden stalls, cast iron railings and decorative horse heads) and provides excellent storage/garaging. Subject to planning permission the stable block would lend itself to conversion possibly to a use ancillary to the main residence.
