From Chester proceed out of the City on the B5130 through Alford and Churton and into Farndon. At T junction opposite the Farndon Arms, turn right and proceed over the River Dee into Holt. Immediately over the bridge turn sharp right into Green Street and proceed up the short hill. Bramwell Cottage can be seen after a short distance on the left hand side.
