Description
Whittington Manor is a beautifully presented family house which was built in 2004. Great attention to detail has been applied in the design of the property which benefits from limestone flooring on the ground floor and stone mullion windows throughout as well as an oak staircase and oak doors. The drawing room and dining room both have working fireplaces and there are French windows to the garden from the sitting room, inner hall and reception hall. The layout on the ground floor is predominantly open plan with beautiful limestone arches leading from the reception hall and inner hall to the reception rooms and kitchen/breakfast room.
On the first floor, both the master and guest bedrooms have dressing rooms along with en suite bath/shower rooms and there are two further bedroom suites.
Outside there is a double garage with electrically operated doors and a guest suite above which has a bed/sitting room, shower room and a potential kitchen (which would require fitting). This area would also make an ideal home office/annexe.
The property is approached from the village lane to a paved parking area for several cars leading to the double garage.
The gardens lie to three sides of the property with a beautifully landscaped area having herbaceous and shrub borders to the southern side of the drawing room, being predominantly laid to lawn with a path leading around the edge.
From the inner hall French windows lead to a further paved area outside the kitchen and sitting room which would be an ideal area for al fresco dining and having a heated plunge pool, which has a filtration system, to one corner. To the rear of the house there is an outdoor sink and a path leading around to the front.
Steps lead up to a further area of sloping lawn which has been planted with a range of trees and is bounded by Portugese Laurel hedging.
