The tenth dog of Christmas…Poppy

Next up in our Twelve Dogs of Christmas series is the adorable Poppy, an eight year old red cocker spaniel who is looking for a new family.

‘Poppy needs a home with owners who are willing to take things at her pace,’ says Tracey Rae of Dogs Trust Shoreham. ‘The right people for Poppy will be happy to visit the centre a couple of times to get to know her before she is ready to leave.

‘This lovely lady deserves a second chance and a loving family – a place to feel safe and where she can enjoy long walks and lots of playtime.

‘Poppy needs to be the only pet in the home and to live in an adult only home or with older teenagers. She really is a very sweet girl.’

We
think all dogs deserve a wonderful home but they are a big
responsibility, so please remember not to pick up a dog this Christmas
unless they can be financially supported and receive the time and
devotion they require.
