The Caorunn Summer Sharer

Try this fruity cocktail with scottish gin, Caorunn. It’s perfect for a pitcher at a BBQ

Ingredients:
25ml Caorunn Gin
25ml Sloe Gin
25ml Lemon juice
20 Gomme (1:1)

Garnish:
Apple slices, blackberry and lemon twist

Method:
Shake everything together and finish by topping with soda into a highball

Sipsmith Summer Cup

A favourite with the Country Life team, the Sipsmith Summer Cup is refreshing and sophisticated.

Ingredients:
35ml Sipsmith Summer cup
Lemonade

Garnish:
Slice of lemon

Method:
Fill a glass with ice, add the Sipsmith Summer cup, and simply top with lemonade.

Chase Rhubarb Sour 

Rhubarb flavoured cocktails is a sure fire sign that the British summer has arrived and the Chase Rhubarb Vodka is completely delicious and perfect for this elegant tipple.

Ingredients:
50ml Chase Rhubarb Vodka
20ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
20ml sugar syrup or two teaspoons caster sugar
1 free range egg white

Method:
Add the ingredients to a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled martini or coupette glass

Elderflower Twinkle

It’s difficult not to smile at just the name of this popular summer drink. Simple to make, it will go down a treat.

Ingredients:
25ml Chase Vodka
15ml Elderflower Liqueur
Champagne

Method:

Add the liqueur to the vodka and top with the fizz.

 

Pimm’s Blackberry and Elderflower

An essential component of the British summer, Pimm’s is now available in blackberry and elderflower and is just as delightful as the original.

Indredients:
50ml Pimm’s Blackberry and Elderflower
Lemonade

Garnish:
Blackberries

Method:
Pour the Pimm’s into a long drink glass with ice and top up with lemonade.

Moscow Mule

We’re big fans here of the Moscow Mule and it’s a hot favourite when served at summer garden parties

Ingredients:
60ml Konik’s Tail Vodka
8 ml Freshley squeezed lime juice
A dash of Angostura bitters
Ginger beer

Method:
Shake the vodka, lime juice and angostura bitter with ice and strain into a glass. Add ice and top up with ginger beer before stirring.

Honey and Elderflower Collins

If you’re a whisky fan, this is the perfect summer drink for you, as it blends Bell’s whisky with more summery flavours.

Ingredients
40ml Bell’s whisky
15ml Elderflower cordial
15ml fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon runny honey
10ml camomile liqueur
Soda

Garnish:
Strawberries, raspberries, lemon balm and blueberries

Method:
Pop your seasonal fruits in a high ball glass with ice. Add the Bell’s whisky, elderflower cordial, lemon juice, honey and camomile liqueur and stir, then top up with soda and lemon balm.
