Property description
RHINOCEROS ALDA FENDI ART HUB: SEVEN APARTMENTS FOR RENT In the majestic palazzo rhinoceros, a historic building in the heart of Rome designed, restored and furnished by Jean Nouvel, seven apartments are available for rent, each with a unique and distinct concept of residing and living pervaded by the art. The palace, located between the Forum Boarium and the Palatine Hill, houses along its six floors, in addition to prestigious apartments, an art gallery and multiple exhibition spaces. Guests will experience an 'art safari' with exhibitions and artistic installations present on each floor invading spaces, stairs and shafts. On the top floor, "Entr'Acte" the gallery restaurant with terraces that rise above the skyline and a unique and exclusive view over ancient and Baroque Rome. The seven apartments, located on the third floor, with size between 60 and 100 square meters, have suggestive views plunging over the Arch of Janus and the church of San Giorgio al Velabro, embracing the Forum Boarium with the Temple of Hercules and the Temple of Portuno reaching up to the Vittoriano and Piazza Venezia. Each apartment, named by the word "thought" translated in a different language and by a haiku poem by Raffaele Curi engraved on the door, is conceived as a suite. The sleeping areas can be separated from the living thanks to sliding panels, while kitchen and bathroom facilities are set in monumental steel cubes. Jean Nouvel's design and furnishings enhance the historical heritage preserved in urban redevelopment. At night, a unique view of the Arch of Janus divinely illuminated by the project of the Oscar winner Vittorio Storaro commissioned by the Alda Fendi Foundation - Experiments.
