One of Costa Rica’s first luxury homes for a major coffee exporting family, this 1910, Victorian-Art Nouveau house was designed by a Spanish architect also known for having designed the Costa Rican Postal Building.Located on the then tree-lined Paseo Colón, this home has seen the country’s history go by from the windows that look over the famous main road into the heart of San José, having been around now for 110 of the 200 years the country has existed!
