In 1763 the chateau was extended by a lower wing and in 1766 it was again extended with the addition of its own Chapel. A classified building Monument Historic and featured in 4 films due to the grand nature of its presence. In its elevated position the castle has retained its defensive exterior appearance and is complimented by its private grounds, vineyards, meadow and woodland. Internally youll find a centralised and very substantial staircase that leads from the ground floor to the first and second floors.
