1 hour 10 mins from Paris, close to Sens, in the Gâtinais region, a property comprising two houses in the midst of wooded parklands. The estate is close to shops and there is a SNCF train station just a few minutes away.
Near a small historic village with its 13th century listed church as well as an old stately home once called “La Grange aux dîmes”, a property full of character that always fascinates its inhabitants.
A double wood door opens on to a wide path through the woods, bordered with a few lights that are very useful come night time. The property reveals itself little by little, the main house and then the boxes covered by the vegetation. A gravelled courtyard provides access to the front of the main house for vehicles. A second house stands out close by. Light shines through the trees and is reflected on the green shutters. At the back of the house the ground is part gravel part lawn. The main house

In a peaceful pastoral setting, one hundred km from Paris, where many would gladly lay down their roots. A bed and breakfast activity would be suitable here especially with presence of a second house, a well-suited guest house in good condition. It would also be ideal as an easy-access holiday home for a family living in Paris. Provision needs to be made for some minor refurbishments. The pool house would need some attention. The main house is in very good condition. With the hotter summers we are having due to climate change, the house seems to be well-insulated.
