The wooden, thatched house was built and designed by Sander Douma three years ago and is therefore completely new construction. It is part of a unique yard ensemble of five other unique country houses, all connected to the character of a 'farmyard' with a contemporary feel.

Inside, you can see that the traditional, farmhouse characteristics of the outside are fully contrasted with a sleek, open interior. This is reflected in the rectilinear floor with natural stone look, the modern furniture and the flowing rooms. The high ceilings, which create complete openness between the living room and kitchen, add a nice spacious effect.

The style of the bathroom - ceramic tiles in earth tones - creates a lovely, serene atmosphere.


The raised gabled roof also makes the third floor very suitable as a bedroom. Adjacent is a guest bathroom and toilet in the same, serene earth tones. The house is fully equipped.

Through the doors in the dining room, you easily walk into the beautifully maintained garden. The vegetable garden has plenty of body: courgettes, rhubarb, fruit trees, raspberries and tomatoes, the fresh produce from provide plenty of pleasure!
With the large, functional shed and cosy canopy, you can enjoy the garden all year round. A lovely sun shines in the afternoon and you can sit out of the wind. An additional lounge area by the water creates the perfect bird-watching view. Herons, birds of prey and kestrels; everything flies by.
