In Alto Alentejo just a few kilometers away from Marvão, this village is integrated into the Parque Natural da Serra de São Mamede and is part of an architectural ensemble of 20 000 square meters of living space among 80 hectares olive groves and cork oak. Surrounded by century-old cork oaks and olive groves, this complex features four large traditional Portuguese paving patios which surround the main house and date from the last century. The ensemble also has several fountains, regional houses, chapel, bread oven, mill, cellar, granaries, stables, traditional cheesemaking room, nursery, and a school with a cellar, among others. A second complex set 400 meters consists of a thermal baths, guest rooms, a restaurant, bar and game room.
