Property description
The Pazo de Cadaval-Urzáiz, located in Nigrán, province of Pontevedra, represents almost seven centuries of history, since already in the 14th century there was this construction that in diverse parts of the house presents shields and coats of arms of the Cadaval, Figueroa, Ozores, Montenegro, Ceta, Correa and Urzáiz families.

The property and its almost 4 hectares of Galician countryside are divided between House, Tower, Chapel, gardens, meadows and forest.

The building is made up of an elongated bay (the oldest part of the Manor House) that is joined to the main body on the right-hand side, with a three-body floor plan, one in the center and two ahead, with the main staircase between them being exempt, built in 1688, as well as the balcony that, branching off from the entrance door, runs along the entire front of the Manor House. This main facade is also joined on the right side by a stone tower topped by battlements, from the early nineteenth century, although reconstructed based on the old drawings in which the house appears with the tower. The main building of the pazo has 8 main bedrooms, more than 6 lounges and dining rooms decorated in the style of the period, as well as a splendid kitchen with "lareira".

The total number of bedrooms amounts to 14 with as many full bathrooms, as well as countless warehouses, garages and rooms of various kinds typical of such a stately property.

They also integrate the set:

Circular tower, topped by battlements, which possibly served as a watchtower.

Wall, surrounding the enclosure, in which two gates open, one of access to the courtyard of honor in front of the main facade with a coat of arms of the Urzaiz family on the lintel.

The Chapel, possibly before 1655, does not occupy its original place.

Hórreo, probably one of the largest in Galicia.

Swimming pool.

The garden complex is made up of four enclosures, among which the southern garden stands out, both for its greater extension and for its antiquity (mid 19th century), as well as for the originality of its layout.

It is worth mentioning that the whole complex is in perfect condition with the daily presence of gardening and maintenance staff.

The property is located a few minutes away from the historical town of Baiona and emblematic sandy areas such as Patos or Playa America. In its vicinity it has all kinds of health services, school and commercial. It also has very good communications, just 12 kilometers from the city of Vigo and its airport.
