Two farms on beautiful Orkney Island for sale

The farms of Bay and The Ha are two Orkney farms which have been combined and built up over three generations, in a stunning sea front location with an excellent, spacious farmhouse.

Stronsay is one of the most fertile Orkney islands and the principle enterprise on this farm has been cattle, but the land is also capable of providing good yields of barley amongst other uses.

The farmhouse is thought to date, in part, back to the 18th century and is of original Orkney stone construction. It now provides super family accommodation over two floors including the kitchen with fired Raeburn, a conservatory, bathroom, box room and sitting room. There are three bedrooms on the first floor and one on the ground floor, which is currently used as a farm office.

The farm buildings provide generous accommodation for livestock as well as potential for conversion to residential use in the case of Ha Farm.
