Adjacent to the main house is a building with a sloping tiled roof, formerly used as a stable. The property is located in the heart of Greca Salentina, 3 minutes from the town of Sternatia, and about 20 minutes from the city of Lecce. Sternatia is one of the twelve municipalities of the ancient area of Greca Salentina, together with Calimera, Carpignano Salentino, Castrignano de' Greci, Corigliano d'Otranto, Cutrofiano, Martano, Martignano, Melpignano, Sogliano Cavour, Soleto, and Zollino. Grecia Salentina is a Hellenophone island of Salento where a dialect very similar to ancient Greek, called Griko, is still spoken.
