The area is famous for being one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. Moreover, on this property, the owners have planted over 120 different species of tropical fruit trees, 7 kinds of bamboo, 25 species of palms, 14 sorts of banana, food crops, herbs, medicinal plants and more, carefully selecting only non-invasive varieties. Over a thousand trees have been planted in the past 19 years as part of the landscaping program, which added to the ancient primary forest and secondary regrowth. Currently the property consists of 7 bungalows and 7 tents on platforms that allow hosting a maximum of 32 visitors, plus several tents and buildings where 8-12 staff members live. There are auxiliary buildings including a workshop, laundry room, storage, chicken coop, etc. There is a reception building, an large yoga deck overlooking the canopy and ocean and of course the spectacular main building that house the restaurant, bar, all arranged nicely around the tropical terrace. All land is measured, registered and free of any mortgages. It is inside the Golfo Dulce Forestry Reserve so no logging can take place on site or on any neighboring property.
