But the specificity of this Regional Natural Park does not stop there, because it has another exceptional asset. You can observe the purest starry sky in France thanks to its very low light pollution. It is called the Black Triangle. Stars, planets, milky way...

The property: 15th century castle classified as a historical monument. Built on a promontory overlooking the oak valley, the property extends over 19 hectares in total, including 4 hectares of truffle oaks, some woods and pastures. It includes beautiful formal gardens, 4 outbuildings, a carriage house converted into a 470m2 reception room with a professional kitchen that has already welcomed Michelin-starred chefs, a swimming pool, as well as a windmill built in 1670 that is classified as a historical monument. Although it has not been grinding since 1936, its mechanism is still in perfect working order. The current castle was built on the foundations of a former 13th century fortified castle, of which there are still vestiges at the north and south ends of the main building. It offers about 1,500 m2 of living space, including 600 m2 for the castle. It is the only property in the Lot department with two listed historic buildings.
The chateau has been completely renovated while retaining its period features such as a superb stone spiral staircase, large fireplaces, tiled and flagstone floors, ceilings 5 metres high and more, underfloor central heating on all floors with Wiesman boiler.
