Royal Childhood at Buckingham Palace
This weekend sees the opening of a new exhibition at Buckingham Palace ‘Royal Childhood’ which spans some 250 years of portraits


This enchanting image of the Princesses Margaret and Elizabeth in August 1932 is part of ‘Royal Childhood’, a special summer exhibition opening on Saturday, July 26, in the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace, London SW1 (until September 28, 020–7766 7300;
www.royalcollection.org.uk). The exhibition spans 250 years in the lives of smaller members of the Royal Family and contains much previously unseen material, including outfits, toys and film footage.
