A Manhattan apartment which was once the home of William F Buckley Jr, the American author and conservative commentator, is now on the market. The quirky property is a cooperative at 778 Park Avenue.
In 1955 Buckley founded the political magazine National Review. He later hosted the television show ‘Firing Line’ between 1966 – 1999, and was a national newspaper columnist.
He would congregate at the property with two world leaders, Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, as often as circumstances would permit.
