The sale of the latest apartment at One Hyde Park in Knightsbridge has gone through for £140m making it the most expensive property in Britain
The latest apartment to go at the One Hyde Park complex in Knightsbridge, the new venture in London from the Candy brothers, has just sold for £140m. The six-bedrooom apartment at One Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, stretches across two floors and features bullet-proof windows, ex-SAS guards and a panic room. Owners also have access to 24 hour room service from the Manderin Oriental in Knightsbridge.

This deal makes the duplex penthouse the most expensive property in the UK, beating the £115 million paid for a flat in St James's Square in Westminster two years ago.
Reports suggest that over half of the 86 properties, which start at a more modest £20m, have now sold and the complex is due to be finished by December.
