History is made at COUNTRY LIFE as The Prince of Wales guest edits an edition in honour of his 65th birthday.

Features reflect The Prince’s interests in art, music, architecture and organic farming and he has written about his visions for rural life and sustainable planning and nominate an eclectic group of champions of the countryside.

‘The Prince of Wales has been a great supporter of COUNTRY LIFE and its ideals over many decades, and has always taken a close interest in what we do, so we’re delighted, at last, to be able to call on his wise input and creativity,’ says Editor Mark Hedges. ‘We know the result is very special issue, with fascinating insights into the Prince’s thinking.’

It has been a tremendous team effort with more than 900 emails exchanged between the Country Life Office and the small team working on the project at Clarence House,’ added Mr Hedges

Hasn’t Prince Charles just put a family farm up for sale? Does that not put the family farming it at risk.

HRH’s commitment to the environment and support through his charities and foundations are examples to follow.

I whole heartedly agree with what Charles has said and have been striving to find a way for me to fulfil the sustainable outline which has been conveyed.

The sad reality is, I dont have the finance, the skills or the workforce to achieve the goal yet I have all the determination to make it work.

If anyone, even Charles himself, wants to help me make this a true reality I am waiting to change my life for all our futures.

I only wish Prince Charles and his advisers rang the country instead of these awful stupid politicians. We would be in a far better state than we are. Just look at how well the Dutchy of Cornwall is run.
HRH is not fully appreciated in this country
    He is s STAR

I should like to acquire that particular edition with Prince Charles co-editing. I admire him and agree fully with his Foundation to save the rain forest and save the countryside.
