Rehome a Dogs Trust dog: July II

The new Country Life rescue dog series kicked off at the beginning of the month with the delightful Spaniel Cross Milo, whose cheeky charm and loveable personality landed him a brand new home and a loving family in no time at all.

We would love the same to happen for Luna, a beautiful one year-old Alaskan Malamute.

Dogs Trust Loughborough Supporter Relations Officer Ella Tonge says, ‘Luna is a very excitable young girl – a typical trait of the breed – who is looking for a home that can offer her plenty of exercise to help burn off some of her energy.

‘She loves running in the long grass and playing with her toys, but is still mastering the art of returning them! She would enjoy further training and socialisation with other dogs as she can sometimes be a bit over-confident.

‘A sociable lady, Luna would like to live with another dog and would ideally like a family that can involve her with canicross – a brilliant way to try and tire her out and keep fit, what could be better?!

‘She was previously kept in an outdoor kennel so will take some time to settle into the home comforts, but once she does she’ll be a brilliant addition to any lucky family.’
