Here we can find another living area with beds and fireplace, a detached kitchen, a bathroom and the access to the rooftop terrace.STATE AND FINISHESThe tower dates back to the 10th century (first record of it is 1124 AD but the tower is surely older) but it was recently restored giving it an ultra-modern look on the inside. On the outside, the structure of the tower has not been altered, however on the front a huge glass window has been added to the faccedil;ade, granting a wonderful view from the inside of the tower and compensating the small original windows having just a defensive purpose. On the inside, the restoration preserved the original stone walls of the building, mixing them with plastered walls. The floors are covered in high quality parquet on both floors, with wooden beam sustaining the second floor. The roof, housing the panoramic terrace, is held by a beautiful wooden truss. The entrance to the building is granted by a peculiar metal bridge, and even inside the passage between ground floor, first floor and roof is allowed by a modern metal staircase.EXTERNAL AREAThe tower is surrounded by 7.5 hectares of land, partially covered in woodland. The property has a nice garden, obtained by terracing the otherwise too steep land. The tower is fitted with a peculiar pool, filled by the water emerging from the underneath natural spring. The outside area just next to the tower has a BBQ area and wood oven with a covered pergola particularly suitable for al fresco dining with friends.Next to the tower we can find three small wooden sheds, a covered shelter for firewood and a small wooden storage house. The rooftop of the tower is a wonderful panoramic terrace accessed from the inside and allowing a 360deg; view over the surrounding countryside. The private road leading to the tower is a dead end, thus traffic-free and granting a high degree of security.USE AND POTENTIAL USESThe tower is perfect as a private luxury residence, deep in the Tuscan countryside and with a unique view over the surrounding hills. The surrounding land is partiallycovered in woodland, the rest is a garden.
