New guide to buying property overseas
A new publication from the AIPP is aimed at sharing tips for those considering buying property overseas

The Association of International Property Professionals' (AIPP) latest consumer guide and members directory is now available in hardcopy and online: How to Buy Overseas Property Safely: the consumer guide from the industry body is a free publication aimed solely at helping consumers protect themselves through the purchase process, by alerting them to potential pitfalls and highlighting key considerations when buying property internationally.
It's packed with impartial advice to buyers of international property including the important ‘do's and don'ts' when buying a property overseas. The guide covers various topics including inspection trips, arranging finance, choosing what and where to buy, and the importance of independent legal advice.
‘Good, independent advice is much needed in this marketplace, and we produce this publication to help buyers of international property navigate through the process,' says Mark Sharp, AIPP's Chief Executive. ‘An important part of our work is raising consumer awareness of AIPP, as well as providing buyers with information and guidance as they embark on an overseas property purchase. This advice is free and impartial, and it will be an essential reference guide for many hundreds of buyers over the next 12 months.'
The AIPP's guide also explains the benefits of buying with AIPP members, who have committed themselves to be accountable under the industry code of conduct.

Exquisite houses, the beauty of Nature, and how to get the most from your life, straight to your inbox.
Country Life is unlike any other magazine: the only glossy weekly on the newsstand and the only magazine that has been guest-edited by His Majesty The King not once, but twice. It is a celebration of modern rural life and all its diverse joys and pleasures — that was first published in Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year. Our eclectic mixture of witty and informative content — from the most up-to-date property news and commentary and a coveted glimpse inside some of the UK's best houses and gardens, to gardening, the arts and interior design, written by experts in their field — still cannot be found in print or online, anywhere else.
