David Harrison is a freelance journalist, writer and PR officer. After 9 years working for the BBC in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, covering BBC local radio and TV news desks, David became a freelancer, to embark on a digital nomad adventure travelling the world. Now more than half a decade into his career on the road, David acts as the PR & Marketing Coordinator for adventure travel company Untamed Borders, which organises group and private tours to some of the world's most challenging destinations, while also acting as fixers for journalists, film crews, photographers and researchers. David also writes on a freelance basis for many different online and print publications, on a range of topics, including travel, sport, music, culture and current affairs. He is also the Co-founder of street art organisation Bankside Gallery Hull and is a keen adventure sport enthusiast, regularly surfing, trail running, mountain biking and competes in endurance races
