Lucien de Guise is a writer and museum curator with a special interest in the meeting of East and West. He has spent most of his life moving between the two, and still maintains this migratory pattern. He was the curator of an exhibition on the subject at the British Museum. ‘Inspired by the East’ had the good fortune to close just before the Covid era of museum-lockdown misery.
