The annual CLA Game Fair returns to Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire


What: The CLA Game Fair
Where: Belvoir Castle, Grantham, Leicestershire When: July 20-22
How: Tickets can be booked in advance for a discount on gate prices until 5pm on July 13. CLA members receive free and discounted admission on advanced tickets as well as access to the member's enclosure. For non-members, children under 10 years are free and a junior rate is charged for 10-16 year olds.

Delve into the very best of the British countryside and take part in competitions, enjoy a little retail therapy and explore the country sports stands and shows-everything from food to fishing.
A new competition, Fish for a Fortune, will take place in the specially stocked lake at Belvoir Castle. Competitors will be given a time slot in which to fish for a single tagged fish worth £10,000. The CLA Fishing Village has been revamped for this year's Game Fair with the aim of improving the flow of visitors between exhibitions, grandstand and lakes.
The British Food Village and the Totally Food Show will be adjacent to the Fishing Village and chefs will be cooking special fish dishes.

Also new this year are the activities for 6-12 year olds. The Active Adventure sessions will last for 2 hours and include activities for budding survival experts such as team building, problem solving, camp crafts, fire lighting, shelter building and low ropes.
The Game Fair is for all ages and for anyone with even the slightest inclination towards the countryside.
