Knightsbridge Village: London's most prestigious address
The prime property area that lies between Brompton Road and Hyde Park - Knightsbridge Village in agents' speak - has proved resilient in the past few weeks

There has been a good deal of activity since the start of 2009 within the streets known in the trade as Knightsbridge Village. 'We have exchanged on six sales in less than eight weeks which confirms the continued popularity of this location,' says Richard Barber, from WA Ellis estate agents. 'People are always looking to buy here, as it is perceived to be one of the most prestigious areas in London and therefor a safe place in which to invest.' Agents believe that interest in the area has risen in direct response to the poor interest rate return on savings in bank accounts. The area is also popular with overseas buyers who are taking advantage of the week pound.
