You are invited to join Dr John Goodall, the architectural editor of Country Life magazine, at a sumptuous three-course dinner on October 10 at Ettington Park Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon, part of the award-winning Hand Picked Hotels collection of country house hotels.
Dr Goodall will be exploring the fascinating history of the country house and also focusing on Ettington Park itself, one of the finest Victorian country houses in the Midlands, and an outstanding national example of a Gothic Revival home.
The talk will look at the history of the building, its exceptional collection of narrative sculpture and the personalities behind its creation.
The three-course dinner and talk can be booked for £55 per person, while accommodation is £110 on a Bed and Breakfast basis for two people sharing.
