An apartment in the East Wing of the former home of the Arundell family in Tisbury, Wiltshire is on the market

The East Wing of Wardour Castle near Tisbury is on the market through the Strutt & Parker Salisbury office (01722 328 741)
The four bedroom apartment has three reception rooms, its own garden as well as access to communal gardens.
It's on the market for £1,285,000 with a lease of 84 years remaining.
Wardour Castle was designed by James Paine for the eighth Lord Arundell. It is reputed to be the largest Georgian house in Wiltshire. The house was continually occupied by the Arundell family until it became the Cranborne Chase girls' school in 1960. It was then converted in 1994 into flats.
Adjoining the house at the western end is the important Roman Catholic Chapel known for its stunning interior stain glass windows, paintings, sculptors and vestments.
