Charlotte Harris and Hugo Bugg run a multi award-winning practice known for imaginative transformations of gardens in the UK and internationally. Understanding the spirit of place is central to their work as well as a careful selection of high-quality materials and elegant, intelligent planting palettes.

They create immersive gardens all over the UK and Europe encompassing high-end residential in rural and city settings, public, botanic, commercial, historic and conservation landscapes. Current projects include country estates in Dorset, Oxfordshire, the Highlands and Kent, as well as the revitalisation of the iconic Barbican Conservatory, the return to nature of a farm in Devon and a series of new, world-class botanic glasshouses for Gothenburg Botanic Gardens, Sweden.

They won a Gold medal and the coveted Best in Show Award at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2023 for their design for a Horatio’s Garden, destined for a spinal-injuries centre in Sheffield.
